Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Khowarij Militants Killed After Bannu FC Assault

Bannu (T. A. Shah) Security forces foiled a major terror attempt after Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants stormed the Federal Constabulary (FC) headquarters in Bannu.

According to official sources, the group of TTP Kharijite terrorists infiltrated the premises. Security personnel immediately launched a counter-operation, engaging the attackers in an intense exchange of fire.

Authorities confirmed that all assailants involved in the assault were killed. One militant died earlier in the morning during a suicide bombing, while the remaining attackers were neutralized in subsequent clashes.

The swift response of security forces prevented what could have been a large-scale tragedy, as the heavily guarded installation houses key law enforcement units.

No casualties among the security forces have been reported so far, while a detailed clearance operation is underway.

Officials reaffirmed their resolve to continue targeting extremist elements and ensuring peace in the region, declaring that no space would be given to militants threatening Pakistan’s stability.
