Delegation from the British Home Office visited the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

Islamabad (Syed Talat Abbas) A distinguished delegation from the British Home Office, headed by Mr. Ridley, paid a significant visit to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Headquarters Islamabad. The delegation held a comprehensive meeting with ADG Immigration – Ashraf Zubair Siddiqui, Director AHS – Israr Ahmad , Director Immigration – Abdul Qadir Qamar and other key officials to discuss matters of mutual interests.

The focal points of the meeting included a joint commitment to combat human smuggling, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) of both countries. The meeting also discussed the matters concerning LEAs exchange initiatives, with a specific focus on capacity building.

The delegation commended the FIA’s initiatives in combating human smuggling, particularly highlighting the newly established TIP hotline.
