Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif left for Pishin Point

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to the Pakistan-Iran border marks the beginning of a new and golden chapter in the relations between the two countries. Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif will visit the Mand-Pashin border today, where he will meet the Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi.
Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif and Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi will inaugurate the border market for the promotion of trade between the two countries. The establishment of the border market will create employment opportunities for people living on both sides of the border and prevent smuggling. Apart from this, the government is working on 5 more border markets which will be opened for trade soon.
Moreover, the two leaders will also inaugurate the 100 MW Gabd-Polan electricity transmission line. Gabad-Polan transmission line was built in a record time thanks to the personal interest of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. With the completion of this transmission line, Iran’s total amount of low-cost electricity has reached 204 MW.
