Islamabad Police arrested Shah Mehmood Qureshi and transferred him to an unknown location.
According to the reports, PTI Vice Chairman has been arrested from Gilgit-Baltistan House Islamabad.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said in his video message before his arrest that the police have come to arrest me, this is a real freedom movement, my back is clean, I have done politics honestly for 40 years.
He further said that he defended Pakistan’s foreign minister at every forum, this struggle will continue until the release of Imran Khan, he never took the law into his hands before and will not take it now.
According to the Islamabad Police, the arrests of PTI leaders are ongoing under the threat of arson and disturbance of peace.
According to the police spokesperson, apart from Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umar and Fawad Chaudhry, Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Musrat Jamsheed Cheema, Malika Bukhari and Alia Hamza have also been arrested.
Police say that the arrests have been carried out by fulfilling the legal requirements, more arrests are expected, avoid spreading rumors and incitement in the public.

Fawad Chaudhry arrestedFawad Chaudhry was present in the Supreme Court yesterday, he was arrested by the Islamabad Police after coming out of the court and transferred to the police station secretariat.
Coming out of the Supreme Court, Fawad Chaudhry had said in a conversation with the media that I am being arrested despite my bail being approved in the Islamabad High Court yesterday.
Some time ago, Fawad Chaudhry expressed his fear of arrest and said that yesterday the court gave a decision that I cannot be arrested in any case till 12th, but there is a heavy force of Islamabad police outside to arrest me.
