Ahsan launches digital Household Economic Survey

Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has formally launched the first ever digital Household Integrated Economic Survey 2024-25, showing rise in the literacy rate from 60 percent to 63 percent. He attended the event as chief guest of the ceremony held in Islamabad today. The survey further reveals that out-of-school children have decreased from 30 percent to 20 percent. It notes that Household Internet Access increased from 34 percent to 70 percent, while individuals using the internet increased from 17 percent to 57 percent. The survey finds that full Immunization coverage increased from 68 percent to 73 percent, while use of clean fuels increased from 35 percent to 38 percent. Pakistan Bureau of Statistics has successfully completed and released the results of the Household Integrated Economic Survey 2024-25, marking a major milestone in Pakistan’s national data ecosystem.
