Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Parliamentary Party has approved the nomination of Mahmood Khan Achakzai as Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas as Leader of the Opposition in the Senate. According to sources, the opposition will submit the names of the opposition leaders to the National Assembly and Senate secretariats tomorrow. Instructions were received from the PTI founder, jailed former prime minister Imran Khan, about these two appointments today. As a result, Achakzai was nominated the opposition leader in the National Assembly and Allama Raja Nasir Abbas opposition leader in the Senate at a joint parliamentary party meeting of the PTI, said Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, incumbent chairman of the PTI.
