Dubai Police announce strict stadium regulations for Pak-India Asia Cup final

Dubai police have finalized security arrangements for the high-voltage Asia Cup final between Pakistan and India, issuing a set of guidelines in Urdu to ensure the safety of fans in the packed stadium. Spectators have been advised to arrive at least three hours before the start of the match. Authorities emphasized that each ticket allows only a single entry, and re-entry after leaving the stadium will not be permitted. Dubai Police have banned flammable items, weapons, laser pointers, and fireworks. Tripods, selfie sticks, and glass objects are also prohibited inside the stadium. Political banners or any unauthorized placards will not be allowed, with officials urging fans to fully cooperate so the final can proceed in a festive yet secure environment. Meanwhile, excitement for the historic Asia Cup final has reached fever pitch, with tickets for Sunday’s clash at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium officially sold out. Organizers confirmed that the 28,000-capacity stadium is now “house full,” as fans grabbed every available seat ahead of the much-awaited showdown. Earlier encounters between the arch-rivals also drew massive crowds, with 20,000 spectators attending the group match on 14 September and 17,000 at the Super Four clash on 21 September. However, the unprecedented demand for the final has outshone all previous contests, underscoring the unmatched hype and excitement surrounding the first-ever Asia Cup title decider between Pakistan and India. The Green Shirts set up a final against India after edging past Bangladesh by 11 runs in a Super Fours encounter on September 25. The final will be the first time the arch-rivals will face each other in the tournament’s history. The 2016 champions have beaten every opposition on their path before swaggering into the final of the eight-team tournament. Pakistan were defeated twice, first in the group stage and then in Super Fours, by an India team containing the world’s top-ranked batter and bowler in the T20 format in opener Abhishek Sharma and spinner Varun Chakravarthy.
