President Asif Ali Zardari has called for an expansion of Pakistan-Sweden cooperation in renewable energy, sustainable technologies, information technology, and agriculture. He was talking to Ambassador-designate of Pakistan to Sweden, Ahmed Amjad Ali who called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr today. He also underscored the importance of parliamentary exchanges and leadership visits to further deepen bilateral ties. Congratulating him, the President noted the friendly relations between the two countries and highlighted shared views on multilateralism, the rules-based international order, human rights and democracy.
