Sultans topped the points table and will now face Peshawar Zalmi on Thursday, who secured the second spot led by Babar Azam. Following their loss to Sultans, Gladiators, positioned fourth, will clash with Islamabad United, who finished third, in the first Eliminator on Friday. The victor of the Qualifier will advance directly to the final of PSL 9 scheduled for Monday, March 18. Meanwhile, the runner-up of the Qualifier will have another opportunity to reach the final by facing the winner of the first Eliminator in Eliminator 2 on Saturday, March 16.
