A Journalist threatened not to continue journalism

KARACHI (DP News) A well-known human rights journalist and social worker Syed Talat Shah, vice chairman All Pakistan Journalist Council, editor of a news agency for a long time and founder of Diplomacy Pakistan, received a threatening message from an unknown phone number. Moreover,  Syed Talat Shah is 3rd and 4th Global award winning Journalist belongs to the noble family and grandson of a War Hero admired by father of the nation Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Not only this but his father also served in the Pakistan Army as an officer awarded Tamgha I Jang.
Army Chief, Director General Intelligence Bureau, Corps Commander Karachi, Director General Federal Investigation Agency including Director General CI Wing Inter-Services Intelligence (I.S.I) appeal for protection and investigation. The phone number was a private number and the person was unknown. On asking for an introduction, the interlocutor delivered his threatening message and stopped Syed Talat Shah from performing journalistic duties and said that if it is not done, you will be responsible for the consequences. In such calls, a private number is written on the phone instead of the call number. An investigation can easily find out which group is involved. Journalist and social worker Syed Talat Shah has appealed to the top leadership of Pakistan Army, especially Corps Commander Karachi, to investigate this matter.
