Quetta Gladiators update: Shane Watson appointed as head coach

Quetta Gladiators has appointed former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson as the head coach of the team in Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9. “The Quetta Gladiators owner and the team management has decided to appoint Former Australian all-rounder and Gladiators’ best run-getter in the PSL, @ShaneRWatson33 as head coach of the team,” the announcement made by Quetta Gladiators on social media platform ‘X’ read. “Watson had an illustrious career as an all-rounder for Australia, having won the WC in 2007 and 2015. Watson played a vital role in Gladiator’s successful campaign in the PSL championship 2019,” it added. Earlier on Tuesday, Quetta Gladiators appointed Moin Khan, former Pakistan captain and a victorious member of the ’92 World Cup team, to the esteemed position of team director. Moin Khan, who had previously held the position of the team’s head coach, brings an extensive and invaluable wealth of experience to his new role. His longstanding association with the Quetta Gladiators traces back to the very beginning of PSL.
