Karachi (DP News Special Correspondent) White paper consultation meeting regarding COP28 was held at Climate Action Center, Karachi. The Climate Action Center (CAC) is taking collective and sustainable action to fight climate change and the climate crisis.
A white paper is a document issued to provide information, solutions and recommendations to citizens and youth on climate change. Addressing the meeting, Yasir Hussain, Director of Climate Action Center, presented his research on climate change which provided amazing information and insights on climate change for the participants.
Along with the youth and students, Syed Talat Abbas Shah, a freelance journalist currently associated with HRNW News Agency & Royal News TV, also participated in the white paper meeting held at the Climate Action Center Karachi.
It should be noted that COP28 is the 28th annual meeting of the United Nations to present research and analysis on climate change, in which countries around the world will consult on how they can reduce the effects of climate change and how to mitigate climate change in the future and how to prepare themselves for the effects of climate change. This meeting is going to be held in Dubai from November 30 to December 12. COP stands for ‘Conference of the Parties’, Parties refer to those countries that have signed the United Nations Convention on Climate Change in 1992.
At the end of the meeting, participants were awarded certificates by the Climate Action Center Karachi, Pakistan.
