Nominated in case of Jinnah house despite not even being there: Aleema Khan

Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan, told a court on Tuesday that she was nominated in the case of the attack on the Corps Commander House despite not even being there. An anti-terrorism court in Lahore took up a case regarding vandalism on May 9 which includes charges against multiple PTI leaders incuding Asad Umar. Aleema Khan also appeared in court in-person and said that she wanted justice to be done. She stated in the court that she had not participated in the May 9 protest in Lahore but had been nominated in the case anyway. Police extended the bails of Aleema Khan and others in the case till October 4 and asked the police to submit the record of investigation at the next hearing. Hundreds of PTI workers and others are facing charges for participating in the May 9 protests that turned violent. The Corps Commander House in Lahore, also known as Jinnah House, was attacked and burnt in the protest.
