PTI leader Hassan Niazi allegedly arrest in Islamabad

PTI leader Hassaan Khan Niazi was arrested in Abbottabad in the wee hours of Monday, his father claimed. No official confirmation has so far been released on the alleged arrest of the former prime minister’s nephew. “I hope the legal requirements will be met and the law will not be violated,” Hafeezullah Khan Niazi said in a social media post on X, formerly known as Twitter. Hassan was notified as the focal person on legal affairs to the chairman/party on June 7, 2022. He was appointed under a well-conceived strategy to deal with the dictatorial tactics and unconstitutional and undemocratic steps of the “imported” government, according to the party. But Khan’s nephew Hassan Niazi was hiding since the events of May 9 which was triggered by the arrest of the PTI chief within the premises of Islamabad High Court. State buildings and military installations were attacked during protests. Hassan is accused of being involved in the attack on Jinnah House (Lahore Corps Commanders House) in Lahore. Other PTI leaders also wrote about his alleged arrest on social media.
