The hearing on the petitions filed against the Supreme Court Practice and Procedure Act 2023 will be held today. An eight-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial will conduct the hearing. It should be noted that the Supreme Court has placed a ban on the Practice and Procedure Act. Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial, Justice Ijazul Hassan, Justice Muneeb Akhtar, Justice Mazahir Naqvi, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Ayesha Malik, Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi and Justice Shahid Waheed are also included in the bench. It should be noted that the Supreme Court has placed a ban on the Practice and Procedure Act.
