Accountability Court of Islamabad approved the bail of Chairman PTI Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi in the National Crime Agency’s £190 million scam.
Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi first appeared before the accountability court in Islamabad where the court accepted Bushra Bibi’s bail plea.
Accountability Court Judge Muhammad Bashir conducted the hearing after which Bushra Bibi was summoned.
On this occasion, the accountability court approved the bail of Bushra Bibi against a surety of 5 lakh rupees.
Lawyer Khawaja Haris told the court that Bushra Bibi has not received any notice.
Accountability Court has approved the bail of Bushra Bibi till May 31.
It should be noted that today was the last day of Bushra Bibi’s security bond in the National Crime Agency’s £190 million scam.
The Lahore High Court had granted protective bail to Bushra Bibi till today (May 23).
The Lahore High Court had ordered Bushra Bibi to approach the concerned court by May 23.
Bushra Bibi approached the Accountability Court of Islamabad today regarding bail.
A pre-arrest bail application was filed on behalf of Bushra Bibi.
