SC to hear plea at 2pm against Imran Khan’s arrest

The petition of Imran Khan on the issue of the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan has been set for hearing in the Supreme Court. The petition will be heard today at two o’clock.
The arrest of Imran Khan was challenged in the Supreme Court yesterday in which PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry filed an application in the court.
In the petition, the stand has been taken that the arrest of Imran Khan is illegal, the order of the High Court declaring the arrest of Imran Khan as legal should be annulled and an order should be given to present Imran Khan before the court.
The hearing on the petition filed against the arrest of Chairman PTI Imran Khan will be held today at 2 pm.
A bench consisting of Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Athar Minullah headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Umar Atta Bandial will conduct the hearing.
It should be noted that yesterday the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) arrested Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan from the premises of Islamabad High Court.
Chairman PTI Imran Khan appeared in the Islamabad High Court for bail in other cases including the rhetoric of military organizations, where a heavy contingent of Rangers detained Imran Khan in the High Court.
