Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam has thanked Pakistan for supporting Iran during US and Israeli aggression against Tehran.Addressing roundtable conference at IRS on regional consequences of Israel-US war against Iran and Pakistan’s mediation efforts, Reza Amiri said that Iranians were grateful to the Pakistani government for its role as a mediator. He said Iran values Pakistan’s mediation efforts. He said that since revolution, Iranian nation was under pressure and injustices from the US and Zionist powers. He said Iran has suffered huge financial losses in this war but Iran was standing. Iranian Ambassador said, “We do not trust America, We have also told Pakistan this.” “The mediation efforts of the Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Field Marshal are commendable”, Iranian Ambassador asserted. He said United States cannot make any decision without the will of the Zionists and Netanyahu. He said these powers failed to achieve any success in their efforts. Iranian Ambassador said conflicts have been going on for half a century and were getting deeper and deeper. He said Iran was in a sensitive position in the region. Iranian Ambassador said after the revolution, Iran did not allow America to interfere in its internal affairs. He said the recent war has been imposed on Iran. The Ambassador said Iran was not in favor of aggression against anyone. There have been 17,000 martyrs in Iran as a result of US and Israeli terrorism which include our President and Prime Minister. Iran focused on acquiring anti-nuclear capabilities for peaceful purposes. Iranian ambassador said no country has been able to provide evidence that Iran is building nuclear weapons. Iranian ambassador said Israel wants its supremacy in the Middle East and United States also supported the Zionists.
