PM Shehbaz to visit Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Türkiye today

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to embark on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey from today until April 18. According to the spokesperson for the Foreign Office, the Prime Minister’s visits to Saudi Arabia and Qatar will focus on strengthening bilateral relations and discussing regional peace and security issues. During the trip, the Prime Minister will hold important meetings with leadership in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, aimed at expanding cooperation in multiple sectors and enhancing diplomatic engagement. The Prime Minister will later travel to Turkey, where he will attend the Fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum. At the forum, he is expected to participate in a leaders’ panel alongside other global leaders and present Pakistan’s position on key international issues. He is also scheduled to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and other senior world leaders during the event. The Foreign Office said Pakistan’s participation in the forum reflects its commitment to constructive diplomacy and international cooperation. The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.
