Apple plans major camera, design upgrades for iPhone 18

Apple is preparing a significant technological upgrade for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the iPhone 18 Pro Max. It features advanced camera systems, improved battery performance, and new connectivity features. According to tech publication Geeky Gadgets, the report said the device is being developed to deliver a more refined user experience, driven by major improvements in imaging and hardware efficiency. One of the key highlights of the iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to be its upgraded camera system, including a variable aperture for enhanced low-light performance and depth control. A 42-megapixel front camera is also anticipated to improve selfies and video calls, while a periscope zoom lens could enable up to 10x optical zoom. The design is also expected to see subtle but meaningful changes, including a smaller Dynamic Island to create a more expansive display and thinner bezels for a more modern look. The report added that Apple is also revising its product launch strategy. The standard iPhone 18 is expected to debut in spring, while Pro and Pro Max models may continue with a September launch cycle. In addition, the company is reportedly preparing to enter the foldable smartphone market with its first foldable iPhone, expected to be unveiled in December, marking a potential new direction in its product lineup.
