Dar, Iranian Central Bank Governor Hold Key Talks on Economic Cooperation, Regional Peace

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held an important meeting with the Governor of Iran’s Central Bank, Abdolnaser Hemmati, on the sidelines of the ongoing “Islamabad Talks,” a spokesperson said on Saturday. According to the spokesperson, the two sides engaged in detailed discussions focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and enhancing economic cooperation between Pakistan and Iran. Both leaders underscored the importance of sustained dialogue and close coordination, emphasizing that peace and stability in the region are essential prerequisites for economic growth and cooperation. The meeting concluded with a mutual understanding to continue diplomatic engagement aimed at promoting economic development and safeguarding shared interests.
