Pakistan strikes militants infrastructure inside Afghanistan, say sources

Pakistan conducted overnight airstrikes inside Afghanistan between March 12 and 13, targeting militant infrastructure linked to the Afghan Taliban and the militant group Fitna al-Khawarij, security sources said. According to the sources, Pakistani forces targeted four militant hideouts during the operation, striking facilities believed to be used by Afghan Taliban fighters and militants associated with Fitna al-Khawarij. The sources said Pakistani forces also successfully targeted military installations during the strikes, expanding the scope of the operation beyond militant hideouts. Among the targets was infrastructure belonging to Kabul’s 313 Corps, which was destroyed during the operation, the sources added.
