Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has embarked on an official visit to Qatar at the invitation of the Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Foreign Office said on Monday.The prime minister is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with other federal ministers and senior officials. During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold a bilateral meeting with the Qatari Amir to review the full spectrum of Pakistan-Qatar relations. Talks will focus on political engagement, economic collaboration, energy cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges. Both sides are expected to explore new avenues of partnership in trade, investment, infrastructure development, energy, and manpower export. The visit highlights the deep-rooted fraternal ties between Pakistan and Qatar and reflects their shared commitment to strengthening multifaceted cooperation. The leadership of both countries will also exchange views on key regional and global developments, reaffirming their resolve to work together for peace, stability, and prosperity.
