Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Friday held a media briefing following a meeting of the political committee, attended by senior leaders including Allama Raja Nasir Abbas and Mahmood Khan Achakzai. Speaking to journalists, Barrister Gohar described the meeting as a very productive discussion, which continued from 6 PM until late at night. He confirmed that some important decisions were made during the session and said that Mahmood Khan Achakzai’s video message regarding these decisions would be shared soon. He clarified that the committee did not want to be diverted by external issues and stated that Achakzai’s message will provide guidance and encouragement to party workers and supporters. Addressing recent controversies, Barrister Gohar rejected Sheikh Waqas Akram’s leaked audio, stating that it was misrepresented and that no such statements were made by him. He said that Achakzai’s upcoming message would serve as a great source of comfort and motivation for the party’s workers and followers of the jailed former prime minister Imran Khan.
