In preparation for dealing with threats at sea, the British Navy has introduced a new unmanned helicopter. The unmanned helicopter has successfully completed its first test flight. The British Royal Navy has named the autonomous helicopter “Proteus”. According to the British Royal Navy, the “Proteus” helicopter is designed for maritime patrol and monitoring underwater targets, and its development cost has been $80 million. According to the British Royal Navy, the helicopter has been developed by defense and aerospace technology company Leonardo.
