Several international and domestic flights were cancelled or delayed due to bad weather and technical reasons at Islamabad International Airport and Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) on Friday. Two Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights, which were scheduled to depart for Gilgit and Skardu, were cancelled. A Fly Jinnah flight, which was scheduled to depart for Quetta, was also delayed. Another PIA flight, PK-301, which was scheduled to take off for Karachi, was delayed by two hours. Earlier, the flight was scheduled to depart for Karachi at 10 am. A PIA flight, PK-181, which was scheduled to depart for Toronto also facing a delay. The flight was scheduled to take off for Toronto at 2 pm. Another PIA flight, which was scheduled to take off from Islamabad for Karachi at 8 pm, was also delayed. Six flights cancelled at Karachi Airport Six flights failed to take off from Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) due to technical and operational reasons. An Air Sial flight PF-123 was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA) from Karachi. Two more flights of Air Sial, PF-143 and PF-145, were cancelled. These flights were scheduled to depart from Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) in Lahore to Karachi. An Air Blue flight, PA-200, was also cancelled. The flight was scheduled to depart from Islamabad to Karachi. A Pakistan International Airport (PIA) flight PK-370, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Islamabad from Karachi. Another Pakistan International Airlines flight, PK-302, was cancelled. The flight was scheduled to land at Lahore Airport from Karachi.
