Pakistan Strongly Denounces Australia Beach Attack

Pakistan has strongly condemned the heinous attack at Bondi Beach in Australia, which claimed 16 lives. In an official statement, the Foreign Office expressed deep condolences to the victims’ families and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. “Pakistan stands in solidarity with the people and Government of Australia,” the statement said. The Foreign Office also reaffirmed that Pakistan unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations. President Asif Ali Zardari expressed sorrow over the tragic incident, which left several dead and many injured. The President conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those hurt, including police personnel who were injured while responding to the attack, according to a press release from the President Secretariat Media Wing. President Zardari said that Pakistan, having itself suffered greatly from terrorism, fully understood the pain and trauma such attacks inflicted on societies. He condemned violence against innocent civilians and expressed solidarity with the people and Government of Australia at this difficult time, reiterating Pakistan’s principled stance against terrorism in all its forms. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his condolences to the victims of the tragic terrorist attack at Bondi Beach, Sydney.
