Pakistan Navy Conducts Live Missile Drill to Demonstrate Firepower

The Pakistan Navy has showcased its operational readiness and combat capability by successfully conducting a live weapon firing (LWF) of the FM-90(N) ER surface-to-air missile in the North Arabian Sea. According to a statement from the Directorate General Public Relations (Pakistan Navy), during the exercise, a Pakistan Navy ship effectively engaged highly maneuverable aerial targets, underlining the Navy’s war-fighting strength and tactical proficiency. The live firing demonstration at sea was witnessed by Commander Pakistan Fleet, Rear Admiral Abdul Munib, aboard a Pakistan Navy fleet unit. Commander Pakistan Fleet commended officers and men involved in the firing for their commitment and professionalism. He reiterated Pakistan Navy’s unwavering resolve to ensure the seaward defence of Pakistan and to safeguard national maritime interests under all circumstances.
