Pakistanis can enjoy the second and brightest super-moon of 2025, which will light up the night sky tonight. This spectacular celestial event will be clearly visible in Pakistan as well as in most parts of the world. According to astronomers, the second and brightest super-moon of 2025, called the “Super Beaver Moon,” will be visible on the night of November 5. Reports indicate that on November 5, the moon will be at its closest distance to earth approximately 221,817 miles which is about 2,800 miles closer than the October super-moon. The name “Beaver Moon” comes from Native American and early colonial traditions, marking the season when trappers would set beaver traps before winter froze the wetlands. Experts say the super-moon will appear 14% larger and 30% brighter compared to a regular moon. According to the astronomical calendar, the third and final super-moon of the year will be visible on December 5.
