PM Shehbaz Sharif Meets Saudi Crown Prince to Advance Mutual Cooperation

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif Monday met Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman at the Yamama Palace in Riyadh, where the two leaders discussed bilateral relations, trade, investment, and regional developments. Upon arrival at the palace, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman warmly received Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, both leaders reviewed the state of Pakistan–Saudi Arabia relations and explored new avenues for enhancing cooperation in trade, business, investment, energy, and manpower. They also exchanged views on regional and international matters of mutual concern, reaffirming their commitment to further deepen the long-standing partnership between the two brotherly nations. Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Riyadh on the special invitation of the Saudi Crown Prince to attend the 9th Future Investment Initiative (FII) Conference. He was received at King Khalid International Airport by the Deputy Governor of Riyadh, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq. The Prime Minister is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistants Tariq Fatemi and Bilal bin Saqib. Shehbaz Sharif will represent Pakistan at the Future Investment Initiative Conference and is expected to meet other world leaders and heads of international organizations participating in the event.
