Supreme Judicial Council which met under the chair of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi reviewed 74 complaints in two sessions of the meeting, According to official announcement of the meeting, after reviewing the complaints, 54 complaints were sent back to office, an Action on one complaint was postponed. However, Supreme Judicial Council decided to take further action on one complaint. Seven more complaints were reviewed in the second phase of the meeting, According to announcement, Supreme Judicial Council was reconstituted for seven complaints. IHC Chief Justice Sarfaraz Dogar recused himself from processing these complaints. Justice S.M. Atiq Shah, Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court, was added in place of Justice Sarfaraz Dogar. In second phase, five out of seven complaints were sent back to office while further action was decided on two out of seven complaints. According to announcement, Supreme Judicial Council also approved amendment to the Code of Conduct for Judges.
