Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) has suspended its senior-most officer, General Manager (Technical), citing dereliction of duty. The suspension order has been issued against Riaz Pathan, who was recently promoted to the position of General Manager. Prior to this, he was serving as the interim General Manager and had assumed the full responsibilities of the post just five days ago.
