The scheduled hearing of the Toshakhana-II case against former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi at Adiala Jail has been postponed. Court officials informed the defence lawyers about the deferment, stating that the new date will be announced from the Judicial Complex in Islamabad. This development follows a written order issued by Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand, directing the Adiala Jail superintendent to allow all lawyers holding power of attorney, as well as family members of the accused, to attend future jail proceedings. The order emphasized that lawyers who have submitted their power of attorney must be permitted to participate. Additionally, family members of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi waiting outside the jail premises should also be allowed to attend the hearing. The development came after Barrister Salman Safdar filed an application challenging restrictions on lawyers and family members during the last jail hearing. The court disposed of the plea after issuing these directions to the jail administration.
