During the meeting, both sides condemned Israel’s ongoing aggression in Gaza, describing it as genocide and a cause of famine, while stressing the urgent need for unhindered humanitarian assistance and a lasting ceasefire. The two leaders also recalled recent high-level exchanges, including the visit of Iran’s President to Pakistan, and reaffirmed the deep-rooted ties between the neighboring nations. Discussions further covered broader regional and global peace and security issues.
