X introduces audio and video calls for Android users

Elon Musk’s social media platform, X(Twitter), is releasing an update for Android users, bringing audio and video conversations to the app. This feature is included in the premium package for users who have updated their app. To manage these features, users can go to the app settings, specifically in the Privacy and Safety section under Direct Messages, where they can easily turn on or off audio and video calling. The update offers added flexibility, letting users choose from three groups – contacts, followed users, and verified users – who are allowed to make calls to them, providing more control over their communication experience. X is continuously improving and recently introduced a basic paid tier aimed at verified organizations. Priced at $200 per month or $2,000 per year, this tier offers benefits like a gold check-mark badge and ad credits. These developments highlight X’s dedication to enhancing user experience and expanding its offerings in the social media landscape.
