Pakistan playing XI for first Test against Australia unveiled

Pakistan announced their playing XI for the first Test of Benaud-Qadir Trophy which begins in Perth tomorrow. Pacers Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad are set to make their Test debut for Pakistan. Sarfaraz Ahmed was preferred in the lineup ahead of Mohammad Rizwan in the wicketkeeping department. Pakistan’s Shan-XI: Imam-ul-Haq, Abdullah Shafique, Shan Masood, Babr Azam, Saud Shakeel, Sarfraz Ahmed, Salman Ali Agha, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheem Afridi, Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad. Aamir Jamal and Khurram Shahzad are set to make their Test debut. Earlier, Australia had also confirmed their lineup for the first Test. Pat Cummins will lead the home side, while Travis Head has been reappointed vice-captain. Australia made just one change to the most recent side that took the field in the Ashes finale in August at The Oval, with the fit-again Nathan Lyon replacing Todd Murphy.
