Her arrival was marked by a warm welcome, and the couple is set to tie the knot in the first week of January in Kolkata. Expressing her joy upon arriving in India, Javeria Khanum described the experience as surreal. Sameer expressed gratitude to the Indian government for granting the visa, emphasizing the importance of both governments showing special consideration in matters of marriage.
