COAS, Saudi Army commander discuss bilateral security matters

The Chief of Army Staff, General Syed Asim Munir, held a meeting with Commander of the Saudi Army Lieutenant General Fahad Bin Abdullah. Inter Services Public Relations reported (ISPR) reported that the meeting was held at the General Headquarters (GHQ), in which the discussions centered on defense, security, and military cooperation, addressing mutual interests. The two military leaders delved into the regional security situation and ongoing conflicts in the Middle East. The Saudi commander expressed admiration for the pivotal role played by the Pakistan Army in the global fight against terrorism. He also commended the sacrifices made by the Pakistan Army for promoting peace in the region, as reported by ISPR. Highlighting the significance of strategic and fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia, COAS Asim Munir emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining strong ties with Saudi Arabia. Upon the arrival of the Saudi delegation at GHQ, Pakistan Army troops presented a guard of honor, showcasing the mutual respect and camaraderie between the two nations.
