Justice Irfan Saadat took oath as a judge of the Supreme Court on Friday. A ceremony was organised at the Supreme Court on Friday morning where Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa administered the oath to the judge. All current judges of the Supreme Court as well as the attorney general and other lawyers attended the ceremony. Justice Saadat’s appointment will take the total number of judges in the top court to 16. He was serving as the acting chief justice of the Sindh High Court when he his appointment to the SC was approved.
