'Completely WRONG information': Punjab govt reacts to minister's Hijab remarks

Authorities of the Punjab s official Twitter account has on Tuesday denied the stories relating to Punjab Increased Eductaion Minister Raza Ali Gillani s announcment that ladies carrying Hijab will get further 5 marks.
In a tweet, Authorities of the Punjab termed the information  completely WRONG information . “No such coverage introduced by Authorities of the Punjab”, the tweet mentioned.

5% marks for Hijab college students is totally WRONG information… Tutorial excellence solely based mostly on MERIT.. It is clear coverage of the Govt of Punjab.

Earlier, it had been reported that the minister had claimed the ladies carrying Hijab at schools can be given further 5 marks. The assertion was criticised closely by PPP chief Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and plenty of others on Twitter.
Though the stories have now been denied, an earlier handout launched by Directorate Normal of Public Relations, Punjab mentioned that Hijab can be made obligatory within the schools of Punjab and a bonus of 5% can be granted to such college students in case their attendace stays beneath 65%.
Punjab authorities later launched one other handout denying the stories and clarifying that no choice has been made to make Hijab obligatory in schools. The handout mentioned 4 issues categorically:
No choice has been made to make Hijab obligatory in instructional establishments.
The report relating to compulsion of Hijab in Punjab s instructional establishments is wrong.
No coverage relating to making Hijab obligatory in Punjab.
It was by no means mentioned that 5% further marks can be given to the scholars carrying Hijab.
