The China- Russia-Pakistan Trilateral Dialogue on Afghanistan


China, Russia and Pakistan held the trilateral dialogue on Afghanistan in Beijing on three April.  The dialogue was chaired by Ambassador Luo Zhaohui, Director Normal of the Division of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Overseas Affairs of China, and attended by the Russian delegation led by Ambassador Zamir Kabulov, Particular Consultant of the President of the Russian Federation for Afghanistan and the Pakistan delegation led by Ambassador Syed Ibne Abbas, Extra Secretary of the Ministry of Overseas Affairs of Pakistan.  H.E. Mr. Zhang Yesui, Deputy Minister of Overseas Affairs of China, met with the Russian and Pakistani delegations.

The three events had an alternate of views on Afghanistan problem, the regional scenario and worldwide and regional cooperation on Afghanistan. The three events agreed that the altering scenario in Afghanistan considerations the regional stability and safety.  The Dialogue of China, Russia and Pakistan as shut neighbours to Afghanistan on this problem helps promote the understanding, mutual belief and coordination among the many three events.  The three events agreed to make consented efforts to safeguard peace, stability and safety in Afghanistan and the area, and assist the “Afghan-led, Afghan-owned” reconciliation course of.  The three events additionally agreed to assist the Shanghai cooperation Group in taking part in a better function on the Afghanistan problem and focus on elevated cooperation on counter-terrorism and anti-narcotics inside the framework of the Istanbul Course of.
