UN Condemns Assault on civilians in Afghanistan

Nicholas Haysom, says worldwide humanitarian regulation prohibits assaults, indiscriminate violence towards civilians.

United Nations has condemned an assault in Pul-e-Alam city of Logar Province of Afghanistan during which seven civilians have been killed and greater than 20 injured.

In an announcement, head of United Nations Help Mission in Afghanistan, Nicholas Haysom, urged authorities to make sure sufficient safety of judicial officers and different civilians searching for entry to judicial establishments.

The mission reiterated that worldwide humanitarian regulation prohibits assaults directed towards civilians and the usage of indiscriminate violence.
