Not less than eight individuals, together with a minor woman, have been died in rain associated incidents in Lahore and Faisalabad after heavy rain lashed elements of higher and central Punjab on early Tuesday morning.

In response to particulars, seven labourers have been died and two different sustained accidents when wall of an below building godown close to Quaid-e-Azam Interchange collapsed resulting from heavy rain in Lahore.

The rescue sources revealed that the labourers have been sleeping of their tent when the wall collapsed, died seven of them on the spot.

Alternatively, roof of a home collapsed resulting from rain in Ibn-e-Mariam Colony in Faisalabad, died a minor woman and injuring her father.

Rescue groups reached the spot and shifted the lifeless and injured to a close-by hospital.

Heavy rain with robust winds was reported in higher and central elements of Punjab together with Lahore, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Multan, Chiniot and Kasur.
