China said on Monday it had lodged complaints over a statement released at a first-of-its-kind summit of the leaders of the United States, South Korea and Japan in which they criticised Beijing\u2019s \u201caggressive behaviour\u201d. US President Joe Biden hosted the summit \u2014 described as launching a \u201cnew chapter\u201d of close, three-way security cooperation \u2014 at the Camp David presidential retreat. The three leaders said in a joint statement on Friday they opposed the \u201cdangerous and aggressive behaviour\u201d of China in maritime disputes in the East and South China Sea.
