Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will reach New York from London on Monday (today) to represent Pakistan in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
\nDuring his stay in New York, he will hold important bilateral meetings with the leaders of other countries.
\nThe premier will attend the reception of the UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres tomorrow (Tuesday) and will also meet French President Emmanuel Macron.
\nBesides meetings with the Austrian chancellor and Spanish president, PM Shehbaz will also hold a meeting with European Union President Council Charles Michael.
\nHe will also participate in the Global Food Security Summit.
\nOn Wednesday, the prime minister will meet Managing Director of International Monitory Fund Kristalina Georgieva and World Bank President David Mills.
\nApart from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, PM Shehbaz will also hold a bilateral meeting with Iran’s President Seyed Ibrahim Raisi. He will host a luncheon in honour of President Erdogan and his wife on Wednesday.
\nOther engagements of the premier include meetings with Malaysian Prime Minister Imail Sabri Yaaqob, UNGA president, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, the UN secretary-general and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai.
\nThe premier will also hold meetings with meet prime ministers of China, Japan and Luxembourg.
\nHe will address the UNGA on Friday (Sep 23).
