The Lahore High Court has granted protective bail to Bushra Bibi, wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan till May 23.\u00a0In Lahore High Court, Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi’s security bail application was heard.
\nBushra Bibi had filed a security bond in the Lahore High Court in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
\nThe court expressed displeasure over the non-appearance of petitioner Bushra Bibi.
\nThe petitioner’s lawyer said that due to security, Bushra Bibi could not appear in the High Court, the court should grant some time.
\nOn the request of the lawyer, the court gave time to appear till two o’clock. Justice Shehbaz Rizvi said that he will reject the bail application at two o’clock and 16 minutes.
\n10 minutes after the time given by the court, Bushra Bibi appeared in front of the court.
\nJustice Shehbaz Rizvi said that the time that was given, the petitioner should have been present in the court, it is embarrassing for both the lawyer and the court.
