Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has termed Imran Khan’s statement as a confession of his involvement in violent incidents following his arrest.
\nMarriyum\u2019s remarks came in response to Khan\u2019s last day first address after release in which he demanded a fair probe into vandalism during protests that broke out after his arrest in Al Qadir Trust case.
\nLaunching a broadside at Khan, Minister said \u201cImran did not have any information about (PTI workers) attacks, and arson just as he did not know about his marriage during \u2018Iddat\u2019 (period of waiting after a divorce) and being a father of Tyrian White.
\n\u201cYou and your planning are behind the desecration of the memorials of martyrs and Ghazis\u201d, added Marriyum.
\nShe said that PTI chairman had repeatedly threatened that if he was arrested, attacks would be done and for this elaborate planning was done. Imran was the mastermind behind the violent incidents in Pakistan, she maintained.
\nThe minister said that the Chief of Army Staff and the Director General Inter-Services Public Relations were repeatedly being named as they had refused to meet the \u201cforeign agent\u201d behind closed doors adding, she said that as no secret meeting in the President\u2019s House was being held, so the Army Chief and DG ISPR were being named by PTI repeatedly.
\nCastigating Imran Khan, she said before advising DG ISPR, he should change the name of his party to \u201cPakistan Tehreek-e-Terrorism\u201d.
\nTaking a jibe at Imran Khan, she said he will be held accountable for Rs 60 billion of the nation.
\nShe said Imran Khan and his spouse had grabbed precious land in Al-Qadir Trust.
\nTerming Imran a foreign agent, she said his anti-nationalist mindset against the country had been fully exposed now.
\nLike foreign funding, foreign agents and their agendas have been fully exposed, she remarked.
\nThose who attacked ambulances, schools, hospitals, mosques, metros, highways, and national assets were Imran\u2019s anti-national elements, she commented.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
