Dominant Pakistan put on an all-round show to storm past New Zealand in the third PAK vs NZ ODI to win the five-match series 3-0 with two games to spare.
\nThe third PAK vs NZ ODI of the five-match series was played at the National Bank Cricket Arena on Wednesday.
\nNew Zealand captain Tom Latham opted to bowl first after the coin flipped in his favour. Pakistan, in response, put up a decent total on the scoreboard at the back of brilliant half-centuries by Imam-ul-Haq and Babar Azam.
\nImam-ul-Haq smashed seven boundaries and a six on his way to top score for Pakistan with a 107-ball 90.
\nBabar Azam, on the other hand, was also impressive with the bat as he notched up 54 runs in 62 balls, laced up with three boundaries and a six.
\nThe target set by the green shirts turned out to be too much for New Zealand as they succumbed to their third straight defeat in the ongoing five-match series despite a brilliant start by their openers \u2013 Will Young and Tom Blundell.
