French Development Agency has pledged 55 million dollars to support polio eradication programme in Pakistan.
\nThis was announced during a visit by the delegation of the French agency and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to the National Emergency Operations Centre for Polio Eradication in Islamabad.
\nThe French Development Agency delegation was headed by Director of Health and Social Protection, Agn\u00e8s Soucat while the Gates Foundation delegation was led by Global Head for Polio Eradication, Jay Wegner.
