Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says the government is determined to upgrade engineering universities to make them global brands.
\nHe was addressing a ceremony to mark ‘World Engineering Day’ organised by Institute of Engineers Pakistan at Expo Centre Lahore.
\nThe Minister said engineering fraternity has main role in boosting industrial productivity which is directly linked with a country’s sustainable development.
\nHe asked the engineering fraternity to play their role in enhancing exports and become a part of economic development.
\nAhsan Iqbal said the government is making sincere efforts to revive the economy by taking timely administrative measures.
